Lucy's tree decoration

Yesterday I went shopping for a present for a friend of Lucy's in our local toy shop. While there, the owner told me about a Christmas tree decoration competition that she is running. Children from different age groups make and decorate a decoration, and the shop will put it on the tree in the church for the Christmas festival in a few weeks time.

So I brought a little wooden reindeer home for Lucy to decorate and here is the result!

We had fun doing it and I think it's pretty good. the red nose is a pompom that we painted and stuck on. I love the little smiley mouth she gave him - very faint but cute.

Lucy has had a cold since late last week which has been tiring for us all. She has slept well but by day she is somewhat high maintenance and is not a good patient! This activity was a fun diversion so I think craft kits will be on the Christmas list this year :)
