With a bumper crop homegrown apples in England this year, we have been inundated with donations from family who have apples in their gardens. I decided to move away from the apple cakes and crumbles after a few weeks and make chutney. I love chutney with roast dinners and also pate. This recipe I found was so easy and has been fun to do. I bought some jars from the little cookshop in town and tarted them up a bit with some fabric and ribbon for the lids.
Hopefully various family members will enjoy it because it's going to be part of their Christmas goodie bags!
