My bags are packed, dinners are in the freezer for Joe and Lucy, and my passport is in hand. Off we go tonight to the airport and tomorrow morning I will be in Blighty for my week of relaxation and England fix. I am anxious but excited and looking forward to getting on my way. Extra hugs for Lucy all day today and telling her about what is going to happen. It's hard for her to understand the timing, but she seems a little aware of things. Our neighbour Mary Kay appears excited at the prospect of having Joe and Lucy to 'look out for' over the coming week, and friends have been great about offering help and back-up while I am gone.
Cherrio peeps! See you in a week....a little heavier around the middle due to catching up with my fave foods, and hopefully very relaxed.
