'The unicorn's adventure and their home'


There was once a magic land and thee were unicorns, rainbows and fairies. There was glitter all around and there were some magic Queens. The unicorns lived with the Queens. They played and played with each other. It was a lovely world., It was very, very. very beautiful. There were little baby pandas. They were called Sylvia and Annabel and Lily. They went on a lovely, lovely adventure with glitter and gardens.

Lucy write this story yesterday at preschool. She told the story while her teacher Alison typed it up, word for word. Then she drew a picture to go with the story. I just love it! She's included all the things she loves most this week (it changes that often), and I smile at her regular use of the word 'lovely' as I use it so often!


Lucy and I bought a very old fashioned first readers book at the charity shop earlier in the week. You know those ones that we had as children with Peter and Susan in them? Well we read it together last night and after about 6 pages she was reading it to me! I was amazed. She is so ready to read and the repetition of words and sentences in this book are ideal for her. It was a very proud moment, even if it was 7.30 at night and I was so ready for a sit down and some adult time!
