Lucy loves playing with her wooden train set at the moment. She adores Thomas The Tank Engine and can name lots of the other engines in the books/on TV. She has a small set that was given to us by AJ and Dylan who had finished playing with it. I think she's ready for a table and more track, bridges etc. so Father Christmas might well bring one for her.
Here is a photo of the track that she built herself this morning. It's the first time she has taken the time to make it with all the pieces, and lovingly laid them down where she wants them to go (rather than get frustrated and asked Mummy to do it!).
