Joe's parents arrived on Thursday 4th for their almost one month stay. We had a lovely 9 days or so with them here doing allsorts of fun things. We went to the park a good few times, took them on some walking tours of West Chester, and to Super Sunday in town, a big event for families with lots of stalls, crafts and activities. We also had a day out at the Please Touch Museum which we all loved, and of course the essential visit to Longwood Gardens.
Lucy has really enjoyed her Grandma and Grandpa. Lots of silly games and giggling, and I have also had the opportunity to leave Lucy with them while we go out. So Lucy is getting used to other people putting her to bed and doing really well with it. No fuss at all! :)
The weather has been really good, although quite sticky and humid at times. A few huge thunderstorms have given Brenda and Tony a taste for the big storms we get over here!
They are now spending the week in the Poconos at Split Rock Resort with old friends (British but now live in South Carolina). They'll be back on Friday.
