Lucy and her friends

Yesterday afternoon we had some friends over  - Kate and Simon and two their three girls Margot and Rosanna, and Anne and her nearly three year old daughter Abi. The girls had fun decorating Christmas cookies that Lucy and I had made earlier in the day. Then they had 'mac and cheese' together which went down so well they came back for seconds. Over here it is known as macaroni cheese and the shortened name that the Americans use is rarely recognised when I talk about it!

It was a fun afternoon and we felt quite festive with our wine and mince pies and the M&S biscuit selection. Yum!
